It does pill a tiny bit, as expected, but a sweater shaver makes quick work of taking them off. Small price to pay for such high-quality wool. The leather handles are beautiful and very sturdy. Sturdy leather bottom, but I wouldn't have minded some little feet to keep it off the floor. This is my second bag purchased from Graf Lantz and it won't be my last!"
