We had never made a bag. We knew the beauty would come from the material itself. Merino wool felt is strong and light, soft and durable. We knew we wanted it to be unique, instantly recognizable, timeless, useful, long-lasting, and bold.
The balance and dimensions of each panel were decided by how their strength contributed to the overall stability of the body. It was the first place we used zigzag stitching, which has since become synonymous with our brand. It gives comfortable flexibility while maintaining the structured look that makes the Jaunt immediately recognizable.
It’s the bag that built itself – couldn't be more iconic than that.
